High Quality Scanning & Conversion To Adobe Acrobat PDF Files.

DESTRUCTIVE METHOD (We cut the binding prior to scanning)

If we have your permission to remove the spine of the book we use an electric hydraulic cutter that removes I/16″ of the spine with a clean cut. We can use this cutter for books that are up to 4″ high. We refer to this as the “destructive” method.

It’s a very clean precise cut that allows us to feed each page through our scanners one page at a time. This will provide you with a perfect scanned PDF file. We use Adobe Page numbering to make sure you never receive a file that has missing pages.

The destructive method is most desirable when your main concern is obtaining a digital file, as opposed to keeping the book intact. If requested, we can return the cut pages to you.

Are you looking for perfect (POD) Print On Demand files? We can take care of that for you.

Please fill out and print. Include the filled out order form with your shipment. If you have any special instructions please write it on the form or call ahead.

After your project is complete payment can be made using a credit card or PayPal. No payment up front is required.

Once payment is received you will be emailed a download link to your files.

NON-DESTRUCTIVE METHOD (All books returned to you in the exact same condition)

If you have books that require our non destructive book scanning service we have scanners that will scan any type or size book. Our service will provide you with crisp clean bi-tonal (BW), grayscale or color PDF files without damaging your books. In other words, we will scan your books to a high resolution PDF file and return it to you exactly the way it was sent to us.

OCR Services (Optical Character Recognition) Invisible layer of text that is behind the image.

This allows the user to easily search for and locate using any keyword or phrase within the PDF file.

Non-Destructive Book Scanning

For books that must remain and returned intact.

Your books rest in a V shaped cradle during the scanning process. All books are returned in the same condition as they were sent.

This service provides precise high resolution scanning. The page rests on the glass directly above the lens of the camera in the scanner.

Each page is hand placed on the glass for scanning and conversion to Adobe Acrobat PDF.

Individual setting adjustments for each page are applied in order to provide you accurate digital images.
